Penn State offers a wide range of courses across its three summer sessions—Maymester, Summer Session I, and Summer Session II. Students can enroll in courses at any Penn State campus in the summer, including Penn State World Campus.

Summer courses offer the opportunity to catch up, to get ahead, or to add to what you are learning. This might mean taking courses toward a minor or freeing up time in your fall or spring schedule to complete an internship or to study abroad.

Summer class sizes are small and engaging. Course offerings are typically available to view toward the end of the fall semester and summer course registration opens in early February. To search for summer course offerings, visit LionPATH.

Summer session classes are more focused, and allowed me to really concentrate on earning the grade I wanted.
