Explanation of Fees
Tuition: The above tuition estimate is for undergraduate courses. Summer 2016 rates are $1267 per credit. The total for 6 credits is $7602.
Information Technology Fee: (IT Fee) enables students to use technologies that will essential in their courses and beyond. In addition, the IT Fee enables Penn State to offer students innovative tools and resources to manage date, peruse digital collections, and even remotely collaborate with experts from around the world.
Student Activity Fee: (SAF) is collected to enhance the out of classroom experience for students.
Health Insurance: Students seeking F-1 visa sponsorship must have health insurance that meets the minimum requirements mandated by the Department of State.
Room & Board: The rates listed above are for double occupancy dormitory and a meal dining plan. We will assist you in finding a roommate.
Books & Miscellaneous Expenses: Actual expenses may vary depending on courses taken.
As part of their orientation, all international students, regardless of immigration status, must to report to DISSA for Document Check in and complete the On-line Document Check-In Process (http://global.psu.edu/node/657).
